The Willows

A two-bedroom bungalow, and what it could become.

The Willows began as a two-bedroom bungalow on a quiet Sevenoaks street. Bunker acquired it, developed it and managed the build through to completion — 196 m² of family home planned around light and movement rather than room count, with a specification chosen for how it would be lived in for twenty years.

Sliding glazing and roof lights pull daylight deep into the middle of the house, where plans of this size usually go dark. The kitchen and living space run straight out to the garden, so the ground floor works as one room when it needs to and several when it does not. Joinery was made for the house rather than bought for it.
